25th June 2021 — Issy R’s 62 runs and Georgia W-J’s crucial wickets secured victory against Farlingaye in the quarter-final. The Leys had beaten a strong Ipswich team by eight wickets in the qualifying round, with Issy R top scorer with the bat (53 not out) and all the bowlers producing fine figures. The fielding was superb, with three run-outs and two catches.

Richard Kaufman, Head of Cricket, said: “We can look forward with excitement and enthusiasm to the Finals Day. To see The Leys competing again on the National stage with the likes of Millfield is a phenomenal achievement and the girls should be so proud.”

The Leys School (Coed 11-18) is a day and boarding school in Cambridgeshire.
